Speculative-design simulation. A fictional surveillance system that overlays invented “threat” dossiers onto whatever faces it sees. It flags things like protest attendance, political speech and BDS support as “risk,” and pretends to read emotion from a face. It does none of that for real.
This speculative surveillance system uses data from the Chicago Face Database (CFD). All political, civic, and behavioral classifications are fictional; archetypes are authored stereotypes selected using subjective observer-rating patterns, not valid behavioral predictions. The discomfort is the argument.
